Windows Vista 32 Bit OR 64 Bit

We have had a lot of emails recently wanting to know how to tell if your operating system is 32 bit or 64 bit. Right click on your My Computer icon and choose Properties, toward the center of the page you should see System Type. Next to it will tell if it is 32 bit or 64 bit. Many times when downloading software, it will be important to know this information.

Google Ads Tip

You have probably noticed that many web sites that you visit have Google Ads on them. The ads usually have something to do with the content of the web site, but most of the time there are only 3 or 4 ads. There is a way to scroll through more ads. On many of these ads you will see two arrows in the bottom left. One is pointing up and the other down. If you click on the arrows, it will display more ads. This does not work on all Google ads.

Kim Komando Web Site

Many of you are already aware of this web site, but if you aren't, check it out. Kim also has a radio program and like her web site it is geared to computer help. She has lots of good information and I am sure you can find something that interests you. www.kimkomando.com

Using Rver's Computer Help Tools

Over the years our computer help web site has archived a wealth of information on maintaining your computer, how to use your computer, keeping you up to date on new information about software, hardware, etc. There is so much information available at our web site,(Approx. 400+ pages) that if you just make use of three sections, you will be way a head of the average computer user. These sections are the search of our web site, www.rverscomputerhelp.com, the articles page  www.rverscomputerhelp.com/articles.html and the newsletter archives,  www.rverscomputerhelp.com/archives.html. To use the search, just go to the bottom of the first page and enter most anything you want about computers and there is a good chance you will find the information you need. The articles link is on the first page in the left column highlighted in blue. The newsletter archives link is in the right column on the first page of the web site.
