AVG Free Edition (continued)

It appears that the confusion came about by the way that AVG worded how to get the 8.0 new version. They make it sound like you have to update from the 7.5 version by purchasing the 8.0 version, when in fact there is also a free version of 8.0 available. Some have reported that they are having trouble getting the 8.0 version to work on their computer. The new version should work on Vista, so if you are having trouble, please let us know what it is and we will try and help. In the meantime here is where you can download the latest free version of AVG. http://free.grisoft.com/ww.homepage

RV Survey (Updated)

We just updated the RV survey page. Some of you might find the statistics interesting, the last update was 5 months ago. I put if the % went up or down with a (d) for down and (u) for up a long side each category. There was no change in the computer category. www.rvinginfo.com/survey.html

    Cancel a Print Job

Have you ever started a print job and it froze? I think most of us can say yes. Here is a couple ways to stop a print job so you can restart it. The easiest way to stop a print job is to double-click its icon in the system tray. Then click on the print job that you would like to cancel and press the delete key on your keyboard, or you can right click the print job and select "Cancel" from the resulting menu. If neither of the above will work for you. Try turning the printer off and restarting it. You should be prompted to resume your print job. You can then select "Cancel" from that menu.
