Man pays fine for using a free Cafe Internet Connection

I ran across this story recently and thought I should pass it a long. This was reported by Fox news, although I disagree with such a law, it is why we have a warning on our free wifi places web page and have had it on there since we started the web page a couple years ago.. You never know if something like this might happen.www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,276720,00.html

Address Book Question

Hi Larry some time ago you told me how to put my address book on a CD or floppy, I did this and it worked just fine. Now would you tell me how to take it off of the floppy and put it on the computer ? Ralph

Answer: As I recall you were using Outlook Express as your mailbox, here is how. Open Outlook Express and click on File at the top of the page. Now click Import and Address Book, from the drop down menu under Look In, select floppy. Now highlight the address book file from the floppy and click OK or Open. That's all there is to it.

Changing your user account picture

When you start your computer, you will see a picture beside your login name. If you would like to change that picture, here is how. Click on Start and then click on Control Panel. Now click on User Accounts. Click on the icon for your User Account and then click on Change my picture. Now you'll see a bunch of pictures that you can use to identify your User icon. If you don't like any of them, just click on Browse for more pictures. This takes you to your My Pictures folder. When you have found the picture you want to use, just double-click on it. That's it.

Finding Product Keys

Some softwares, including most of Microsoft products, do not allow the user to view registration codes, cd-keys or serial numbers, once the software is installed. What do you do, if you lose the CD-cover or registration information emailed to you? This is where geProduct Key Finder comes in handy. It allows you to view and save of course CD-keys or serial numbers of many softwares. It does not include all software, try it and see if it works for you. Just click on this link and download it. It does not install on your computer, just save it to your desktop and run it from there. geProductKey.exe

Computer term (Virus )

A chunk of computer programming code that makes copies of itself without any conscious human intervention. Some viruses do more than simply replicate themselves, they might display messages, install other software or files, delete software of files, etc. A virus requires the presence of some other program to replicate itself. Typically viruses spread by attaching themselves to programs and in some cases files. (RE:http://www.matisse.net)
