GPS Reviews

If you haven't checked the GPS Reviews page for a while, there are a few new ones. There are so many GPS units available these days, that it makes it difficult to choose one. Take advantage of these reviews to help you make a choice. www.rverscomputerhelp.com/gps.html

Custom Google Search

We have added a custom google search to the top of many of our web pages. What this will do, is allow you to search for things pertaining to the content of that particular page. For instance if you are on the web page for  RV Parks that offer free WiFi  and you would like more results then what we offer, all you have to do is use the search to find more results elsewhere.

What is Blogging??

I am sure most of you have heard of Blogging and I know some of you have a Blogging web site. Those of you that do not know what it is or would like to find out more about it, can go to our web site here and read more. www.rverscomputerhelp.com/blog.html

Google search tips (Update)

In reference to the Google search tip in the 7-25-08 newsletter, Rob sent an email with some useful tips that he uses when searching Google. ("Don’t know if you’ve outlined this in the past but in reference to this issue 7-25-08 and search filtering. I use + and negative quote often and most search engines abide by it. When I’m researching Oracle technical information for example, I get a lot of ‘job’ and ‘resume’ hits which muddies my search. I exclude them by adding –resume –jobs and it removes them from the search. In order to find more recent information regarding my search, I will also add the year (2008) so it grooms out the older stuff.") Thanks for the articles. Rob

Quote of the Day

Little progress can be made by merely attempting to repress what is evil; our great hope lies in developing what is good.
--Calvin Coolidge

Sending the Newsletter to myself

To make sure that the Newsletter is going out okay, I send a copy to some other email boxes that I have. This way I can check the format and make sure it arrives in the inbox. The last couple times it has been sent directly to the spam folder. I had to change the settings at my email box to get it to come to the inbox. The reason I am telling this is to let you know, that it is a good idea to check your spam folder if you don't receive the Newsletter in your inbox. Most mailboxes have a place where you can click that the Newsletter is not spam. This is what I had to do at Yahoo, now it is back in the inbox. I also subscribe to several newsletters and recently some of them were sent to the spam box. So if you receive newsletters from someone else, you might want to keep an eye on them also.

Have you got computer Questions??

We certainly do not know all the answers, but we might be able to locate a answer for you. If you have any questions, email us at  questions@rvinginfo.com
