What is Blogging??

Blogging has become very popular, not only among the young people, but for us oldsters as well. Wikipedia has a good explanation of what Blogging is and the different types as well.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog.

I have not yet got into Blogging because I am to busy with other things right now. However my web site hosting company offers me free space with all the tools for doing it. Eventually I suppose I will have to find the time. I have noticed many Rver's are now doing Blogging and posting their daily activities. I do know that one of the most popular Blogging sites is www.blogger.com It is free and they even show you how to set everything up to get you started. Personal Blogs seem to be the most popular, but there are Corporate blogs also. You might want to check with your Internet Service provider to find out if they give free web space. Most of them do and some even provide you with the means of setting up a blogging site. Verizon gives 10mb of web space, Charter Cable does also. I am familar with both of those, however if you are planning on posting lots of photos, you might want to obtain more space. If you are careful and optimize your photos, you might be able to post several. The program Paint.net that I have been listing in the newsletter is a very good photo optimizer. If you need more information about blogging, I would suggest you do a little reseach by searching Google and even visiting a few blogs for ideas.
