If you are tried of Internet Explorer, or would just like to give another browser a try, there are several other good ones to consider. The good thing about this is that they are all free. Each have something unique about them, but at the same time they each have similarities, so that you will not be completely lost when you try them.

Here is a little about each of them.

Google brings us  Chrome and they say, "Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier." At their web site, you can read more about the features and even watch a video that tells more about it.

Apple is the maker of Safari and here is what they have to say about it, "Experience the web, Apple style, with Safari: the fastest, easiest-to-use web browser in the world. With its simple, elegant interface, Safari gets out of your way and lets you enjoy the web — up to 1.9 times faster than Internet Explorer." You can watch a demo at their web site.

Opera has been gaining in popularity and they say, "Speed Dial: Your favorite sites are just one click away at all times.
Search Shortcuts: Faster search – type your queries directly in the address bar.
Trash Can: Instantly reopen recently closed tabs."

Much of Seamonkey uses the same source code as Mozilla and they say, "Web-browser, advanced e-mail and newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editing made simple -- all your Internet needs in one application."

Firefox is second only to Internet Explorer in popularity and is gaining all the time. They say "The Browser That Has It All Firefox has security, speed and new features that will change the way you use the Web. Don’t settle for anything less." Firefox has the look of Internet Explorer, but has some features that Internet Explorer does not have. When Firefox first came out, it was considered much safer than Internet Explorer, but with it's popularity many think that it has come under attack by hackers. Still it is a good browser and one you will want to try.
