Malicious Software Removal ToolThe Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers running Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 for infections by specific, prevalent malicious software—including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom—and helps remove any infection found. When the detection and removal process is complete, the tool displays a report describing the outcome, including which, if any, malicious software was detected and removed. Those of you that already have a Hotmail email account, can signup to try the Windows Live Beta Email service. After signing up, you will be notified in your Hotmail email box by invitation to join the new email service. Windows Live Expo
Expo is a dynamic social listing service that allows members to find and sell items, discover information, and meet other parties in their area - all for free! This is a very interesting web site, patterned a long the lines of Ebay, but much easier to list things for sale and it allows you to find items listed near you. Close enough many times so you could even drive to the location, unless you live in the middle of no where. Windows Media Player 11
This new version of the Windows Media Player has a bunch of new features and a new look. I have not had time to go through everything in it yet, but what I have seen looks pretty impressive. Remember this is a beta version, meaning it is still in the testing phase. Internet Explorer 7 Beta is available for download if you are interested. Just keep in mind that sometimes things do not go well when testing these new programs. I have it on both my laptop and desktop computers and so far no problems. It has some good new features, some of which Firefox has had for a long time, never the less they are good to see on Internet Explorer. You can take a tour of the new features before you download it.
