How to make your computer to run better-Part One

4inkjets! For All Your Printer Needs

  Delete Programs you never use

There is no sense in keeping programs on your computer that you no longer use. To remove them, go to Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. There you will be able to select the programs that you want to remove.

  Defragment your Hard Drive

To do this, left click your My Computer icon, Right click the C drive, choose Properties, then the Tools Tab, then Defragmentation. The process can take from a few minutes to an hour or so.

  Limit your start up programs

Click Start, Run, type in msconfig and click OK. When the next window comes up, select the Startup Tab and uncheck the programs that you do not want to load when you start your computer. If you are not sure what a particular program is, leave the check mark there.

  Add Memory

One good way to make your computer run faster is to add memory or Ram. You can check at this web site to see what type memory your computer uses and how much it is. They even tell you how to add the memory. They will also give you a price if you think might want to add more memory. Just click on the ad below.
