With the program open, go up to the help button, there maybe a place there that allows you to search for updates. If there is, most times all you have to do is click for the update and it will install itself. If there is no place under help to look for updates, you can go to the web site for the maker of the software and search for updates there. Many times after installing updates, you will notice improved performance from your computer.
