Just returned from a 5,100 mile motor home round-trip from Dallas to Washington State. I routed us to many KOAs that advertised "Free Wireless Internet" on their web sites. In most locations, the wireless Internet would not cover the individual campsites. Found myself perched on folding tables in laundries or freezing outdoors at a picnic table next to the office. Some places it was out of order and all you could get,in the way of help, was a free dumb look from the clueless teenagers they had working the counters. This borders on false advertising, in my mind, as I have paid for and received excellent wireless Internet at many other camp grounds. This really bites when you need Internet access for business purposes. "Free" sometimes means non-existent at KOA Sign me "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"(Robert)

I got sick & tired of trying to stop at WiFi Parks, only to find them not up to par, or I'm too far away from the sender/receiver to use it effectively...................so I updated my Treo Smartphone and tether my computer to it, now I have no problem going online anywhere with Verizon Wireless EZ Access. This August/September we took a 6 week trip from Orlando to Banff, AB and back and never had one problem going on line. It is faster in the more populated areas where broadband is available. (Chuck)
